Mini-post time! Here I have GSC’s Tenshi, that I actually shot back when I got her but since there weren’t many pictures taken at the time, I didn’t know what to do with them.
Tenshi’s definitely a cutie, especially for the cheap price. Her pose is adorable, and the sculpting is around the same quality as can be expected for one of the top figure manufacturers.
Of course, that being said, her wings are quite cheap. They’re removable so they’re optional parts, but she doesn’t look complete without them. They’re made of pretty cheap plastic, though, and spray-painted rather haphazardly, which I feel ruins the effect.
It seems like she’s definitely a sought-after figure currently, though. There are bootlegs that have been spotted more recently too, so watch out if you want her and go to order her from places like Ebay or Amazon!
She really is quite gorgeous other than the wing issue, though. I have no problems with the paint, the sculpt, or anything else. It’s just those pesky wings that continue to bother me (though I suppose if I didn’t have Utsuho with her breathtaking wings right next to her, it wouldn’t bother me so much). From further away you can still tell that they’re cheap, just not as much as closer up. Of course that holds true to all figures, regardless of the flaw.
Overall, she’s definitely the best Tenshi figure out there on the market right now, though seeing as she’s the only scale version that isn’t a Beach Queen, well, I suppose it’s not really saying much. Hopefully Alter or someone else tries their hand too, though~ I wouldn’t mind having two Tenshis! If you like Tenshi and can still find her close to retail price, I’d say go for it, really. She’s definitely cute in my collection and even though I have an obvious issue with the material they used for her wings, I don’t regret buying her. She looks nice next to Yurippe too! ~

i haven’t seen this figure in detail but I can agree that the wings do look rather cheap, and that’s just based on the pictures you’ve given, lol. i can agree the pose looks nice: I like the “wind effect” it carries, with her fluttering skirt/hair, but I don’t think the wings seem to flow with it. if it bothers you that much I probably would take the wings off, since there are better looking wings on winged figures (Utsuho, Nodocchi, etc).
from the pictures, the wings don’t look all that bad but maybe it’s just me cause I’m such a sucker for clear plastic… =3
Still it’s a really pretty figurine but personally, I prefer Yurippe more. =3
